'Top Gun' and 'Braveheart' among movies disappearing from Netflix on January 1st

Over the years, Netflix's customers have grown accustomed to a revolving selection of movies and TV shows. The company's licensing deals often result in some films disappearing after spending time in Netflix's streaming library. Unfortunately, it looks like the beginning of 2014 will mark the end of Watch Instantly rights for dozens of popular titles including Top Gun, Braveheart, and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. Netflix displays an "expiration date" whenever content is added to your personal queue, but the company has made it difficult to monitor those losses on a larger scale.
Thankfully some Redditors have proven up to the task; they've assembled a list of notable titles that are due to be removed as we ring in 2014.
