MC2 Post 1459 Looking Back At TV's Raucous Golden Age

The Unholy Dozen Plus Two, that has Changed TV Forever

A New book reminds us that the Past 15 years has provided some pretty impressive out-of-the-box Dramas on the small Tube (now flat-panel).

And most have not been on the major networks.

Let That Reality Set In, Big Three...  Except for Lost (ABC) and 24 (FOX), its been HBO, Showtime and on something called AMC, on basic cable.

Wingman.

I like AMC.

"The Revolution Was Televised: The Cops, Crooks, Slingers and Slayers Who Changed TV Drama Forever,"  covers  a dozen influential and ground-breaking shows ("The Sopranos," "Oz," "The Wire," "Deadwood," "The Shield," "Lost," "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," "24," "Battlestar Galactica," "Friday Night Lights," "Mad Men" and "Breaking Bad") for in-depth scrutiny.
